French Elections: First and Second Round Results

First Round

The first round of the French general elections was held on June 10th, 2007. The two main candidates were Nicolas Sarkozy of the Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) and Ségolène Royal of the Socialist Party (PS). Second Round

Presidential and Legislative Elections

In addition to the general elections, presidential and legislative elections were also held in France in 2007. The presidential election was held on April 22nd and May 6th, and resulted in the victory of Nicolas Sarkozy.
