Michael Olise: Crystal Palace winger impresses with skills

Michael Akpovie Olise (born 12 December 2001) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Crystal Palace.

The 22-year-old Frenchman, who joined Palace from Reading in 2021, has been in impressive form for the Eagles this season, scoring three goals and providing eight assists in all competitions.

Olise's performances have reportedly attracted the attention of several top clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

However, according to The Athletic, Chelsea have now pulled out of the race to sign Olise after being put off by Crystal Palace's asking price.

The Eagles are said to be demanding a fee in the region of £55 million for their prized asset, a figure that Chelsea are not willing to pay.

It remains to be seen whether any other clubs will make a move for Olise before the January transfer window closes, but the winger's stock is certainly on the rise.
