Fewer Canadians Considering Voting for Liberal Party

Recent Polls Show Decline in Support for Justin Trudeau's Party

338Canada Projection Model Indicates Liberal Popularity at Low Since 2015 Election

Recent polls indicate that fewer Canadians than at almost any point since the party was elected with Justin Trudeau as leader are considering voting for the Liberal Party.

The 338Canada project, a statistical model of electoral projections based on opinion polls and electoral history, shows the Liberal Party's support at 30.5%, its lowest level since the 2015 election.

The decline in Liberal support is reflected in other recent polls, including a Nanos Research poll that shows the party's support at 29.9%, and a Leger poll that puts the Liberals at 29%.

The decline in Liberal support comes as Canada faces a number of challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the ongoing housing crisis, and the rising cost of living.

It is unclear whether the Liberals will be able to regain the support of Canadian voters before the next election, which is scheduled for 2023.
